Holiday Spirit in our Hometown (Rochester, MI)

As the holiday season rolls in, we’re feeling extra grateful to be located in Rochester, MI!

Our building is a short walk from Downtown Rochester’s Main Street, and the LoveBook crew will head there year-round to enjoy lunch or drinks at one of the many welcoming restaurants and coffee shops. Though every trip downtown is pleasant, one night is a little extra special...

Each year, millions of multi-colored Christmas lights are hung on the buildings along Main Street during their annual Lagniappe celebration. Lagniappe (Creole for “a little something extra”) sees hundreds of residents and visitors stroll Main Street throughout the evening, receiving free gifts from the number of local eateries, vendors, and entertainers participating in the event as a gesture of thanks for their support. Guests can also enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves!

Main Street will then remain lit every evening until the beginning of January, allowing anyone to walk the streets and enjoy the dazzling display through the holiday season.

We’re thankful to spend December in a town full of holiday spirit!
